Pro-Life Matters

Part of KSC's Action Programme involves Pro-Life matters. In this respect, Members are very active in contacting our MPs to encourage them to oppose further relaxations on abortion laws, there is constant pressure from the pro-abortion lobby to see the introduction of abortion-on-demand up to birth in all parts of the UK and Ireland.

Other matters on which members have been active are:

• Opposition to euthanasia and assisted suicide
• Stem cell research involving aborted embryos
• Same sex marriage
• Catholic abortion agencies being forced to accept same-sex couples adoption
• Protecting the right to hold prayer vigils near abortion clinics

Members also give financial support to Pro-Life agencies such as Life Group, Right to Life and Society for the Protection of the Unborn Children (SPUC).

Until lockdown, the Rosary was prayed for the unborn on the 4th Friday of each month in Our Lady of Sorrows.
